The "90s Summer" is Back (and It’s Right in Our Backyard).
Trade the tablet for the trees. Remember the summers where the only rule was to be home by dinner? Where the day was measured in dirt under your fingernails and the number of cool rocks in your pockets? We’re bringing that "wild childhood" back to Fuquay-Varina this June.
NatureCore Camp is a 8-week immersive dive into the grit and wonder of the North Carolina woods. Designed for explorers rising into Grades K–5, we’ve traded the screen-time for hands-on discovery, led by Ranger Dan.
Every session is built around project based learning and real-world field study like foraged materials art, modern-day dragons in the wild, and identifying poisonous plants. Once a week, we move between our own wooded "Nature Lab" on Tram Road and the hidden gems of our local park partners like Beech Bluff and Hilltop Needmore.
What to Expect
Expect hands-on fun, supportive staff, and a mix of structured activities and open exploration. This is a space where NatureCore campers can move, make, imagine, and grow. Summer boredom - busted.

Where is NatureCore Camp?
Most of our adventures will be hosted at our Sprouts Nature Preschool basecamp but we will also explore local nature preserves and parks 1 out of the 5 days we have scheduled each week. Parents will drop off at the specific site and pick up when the session is done.

NatureCore Camp is a drop-off style program led by Ranger Dan. They get 4 hours to explore, learn, grow + you get to reclaim your time and energy each morning.

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to walk + talk with us in our outdoor classroom before the 8-week session starts. Just message info@sproutsnaturepreschool.com to set up a day and time that works for you.

Yes, it’s important (but completely up to you) to bring a snack and water bottle to NatureCore Camp. We stay pretty active and know curious brains need to refuel now and then.

So payment for the 8-week session is expected upfront. You’re welcome to swap a day (if 2 days/week) if you have an appointment or had a sick kiddo that day for another scheduled meetup. We do not offer refunds for missed days.

2 days a week is $90/week. If you prefer your child tags along with us all 5 days (which is always better for a deep dive class like NatureCore) the fee is $155/week.
